IN-HOME CONSULTATION

What To Expect From Your In-Home Consultation:

• You will get up to one hour at your home, either in person or through a video call, to discuss as many spaces as you would like. You decide if you would like to give Kara a tour of your whole home, or if you would prefer to focus on one room. If your project is new construction, you can walk through any floor plans that you have.

• This consultation is your time to tell Kara about your home and your design wants and needs. Share how you live in each space. Is it just you and your spouse? Or do you have children, pets or frequent guests?

• Kara will review with you how she works. She will present you with an example of her “Design Book” so you can see how she presents her design vision. Together, you will both walk through a “Sample Client Budget Sheet”, which shows an itemized product sheet of interior items that are middle of the road price points; this sheet is meant to give you a realistic idea of what Kara's designed spaces typically cost. If you are not comfortable with the numbers presented, this is the time to address any hesitation.

• If you have specific expectations for what you would like to accomplish, please let Kara know so that she can better cater to your vision. During the walkthrough of your home, Kara will ask a lot of questions, take notes and photos so that she can leave your home and continue to brainstorm about your project. If this consultation is done through a video call, she will ask you to send her photos once your meeting has ended.

• After your In-Home Consultation, Kara will go home and review her notes and photos. Based on this information, she will email you a proposal for your project.

Flat Fee:

• $150 (this price is for design fee only)
